Our Mission
Our mission is to create and maintain a repository of artifacts, documents and visual images that document the African American educational experience in the City of Dallas. It is important to preserve this history so that contemporary society can study the lessons learned through the struggles and triumphs of African American educators, students and the community at-large.

It is my pleasure to welcome you all back to dr/NABSE

As president of this great organization, I would like to take this moment to thank each of you for your patience and commitment to dr/NABSE. I consider myself very fortunate to have this opportunity to represent our members and will work hard to meet your expectations.
Our policies and beliefs have always focused on what is best for our children. My membership with dr/NABSE has helped me to broaden my view when it comes to education policy. I encourage you to take an active role in the local, state, and national chapter of NABSE.
I look forward to your continued support and collaboration as we embark on a new year of challenges and changes.
